About the Author
Besides a writer, Eileen Rose Busby is an experienced antiques dealer. She also teaches about antiques and collectibles at a community college in El Cajon, California. After an early retirement, Eileen and her husband Richard lived in Suffolk, England, for nearly ten years, and returned to the West Coast in 1987. Busby's articles about their travels, illustrated with Richard's photographs, have appeared in publications in the United States, England, Scotland and Spain. Eileen's first piece of Royal Winton -- a Mecca foot warmer -- came with a 16th century English cottage they bought and lived in during their stay in England. She is also the author of the best selling Royal Winton Porcelain: Ceramics Fit For A King.

I found this book shallow and poorly researched. She had only looked what was available in the USA ( was the book intended for that market only) . There was much on Japanese products and Avonware but she skimped on potterys, such as Keele Street, SlyvaC and Shorter and Son. Often she only looked at two pieces or three pieces from these major producers. I would not recommend this book to any serious collector it is too light and not enough indepth research.
